Happy Holidays

Superior, Wisc. ~ As 2004 comes to an end, AMSOIL would like to wish everyone a happy holiday season. We would also like to thank our race teams, Dealers and fans for their support and hard work over the past year. Many of our race teams are enjoying a break the in action over the next few weeks to spend time with family and friends. So AMSOIL thought we would bring you some Christmas cheer with a fun-filled recap of 2004 as told through the timeless story, "Twas the Night Before Christmas."

"Twas the Night Before Christmas"
An AMSOIL Racing Version

Twas the night before Christmas, when all through the shop,
Not a forklift was stirring, not even a mop.
The cases were stacked by the loading dock with care,
In hopes that a Direct Jobber soon would be there.

Team AMSOIL was nestled all snug in their beds,
While visions of checkered flags danced in their heads.
"The Rock" on his Honda and "K-Dub" on his,
Were all settled down for a break from the biz.

When out on the track there arose such a clatter,
Josh Grant rose from his bed to see what was the matter.
Away to the podium he flew like a flash,
Just like at Loretta's when he walked away with the cash.

The moon on the hood of a Polaris IQ,
Gave warning to others that DJ was due.
When, what to our wondering eyes should appear,
But the Team AMSOIL rig, with Steve (Scheuring) shifting gears.

What a little old driver, so lively and quick,
I knew in a moment we did not need St. Nick.
More rapid than Rinker his coursers they came,
And he whistled, and shouted, and called them by name:
"Now, Carl! Now, ZBROZ! Now, Marco and Dedick!
On Hahn! On Rodrigues! On Billy Laninovich!
To the top of the podium! To the top of them all!
Now dash away! Dash away! Dash away all!"

So up past the finish line, the coursers they flew,
With the rig full of trophies and P.J. Wanderscheid too.
And then, in an instant, we heard a small roar,
The undistinguishable sound known as Team C.O.R.R.
As we drew in our heads and were turning around,
Down the backstretch, the Dutchman came with a bound.

He was dressed for a race, from his head to his foot,
And his clothes were all tarnished with mud and some soot.
A case of AMSOIL he had flung on his back,
And he looked like a Dealer just opening his pack.
His truck, how it twinkled, his engine was cherry,
He and McCrossan and Oberg were merry!

In 2004, Team AMSOIL stole the show,
From dirt tracks to water and even the snow.
Darrell Nelson jumped high after winning his heats,
To become the Late Model champ no one could beat.

Until the last race, Rinker was holding out hope,
Of repeating his title aboard his yellow Champ Boat.
Windham was ripe for challenging Ricky,
But with a third place finish, we should not be too picky.
AMSOIL was happy for all the success,
And in 2005 we wish for more of the best.

A host of changes are coming for all of you,
Creations are brewing with many things new.
A new center for AMSOIL for more products to flow,
We'll fill all your stockings with something you know.

So back to our story about everything fast,
There is nothing better than oil that lasts.
Team AMSOIL delivered in 2004,
But it's to the New Year where they'll be back for more.
And we heard them explain, as they raced out of sight,
"Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good-night!"
